Specialist European bank seeking a CRO to rebuild the second line ahead of a supervisory review.
The brief
Sterling Bancorp is a specialist lender with a Frankfurt booking entity and a London origination office. The board wants a CRO who has sat through an ECB or BaFin deep dive and can rebuild credit, market and non-financial risk without theatre.
What we are looking for
CRO or deputy CRO in a supervised European bank; German language preferred; experience of model risk and ICAAP.
